# Design Partner Program

We're looking for partners that care about responsible agentic deployment.

## What We're Building

Handlebar is in a structured design partnership phase. That means:

* The core platform exists (deterministic rules, hard actions, immutable logs)
* We're refining it with real-world use cases from companies
* Partner feedback directly shapes the product roadmap

## What We Commit To

If you join as a design partner:

* **Dedicated engineering support**: You get direct access to our team. We'll help you integrate, troubleshoot, and iterate.
* **Co-design privilege**: Your use cases become our reference architecture. We build what you need.
* **Early access**: You get new features before anyone else.
* **No long-term lock-in**: If it doesn't work out, you walk away. No commitment.

## What We Are Looking For

* **Real-world deployment**: We need to see Handlebar in production (or near-production) to stress-test it.
* **Feedback loop**: Regular check-ins to share what's working and what's not.
* **Use case transparency**: Help us understand your workflows, constraints, and edge cases.
* **Collaboration on compliance**: If you're in a regulated space, we'd value your compliance team's input.

## How We Use Your Feedback

Design partners get:

* **Roadmap input**: You tell us what features matter most. We prioritise them.
* **Custom rule templates**: We build policy packs for your industry (like the Healthtech pack above).
* **Direct feature requests**: Need a specific action type or rule capability? We'll build it.

This isn't "submit a ticket and wait 6 months." This is "we're building this together."

## What You Get Early

* **Pricing advantage**: Design partners get discounted pricing when go to general availability.
* **Reference customer status**: (Optional) If things go well, you become a public case study.
* **First-mover advantage**: You deploy agents with real-time controls before your competitors figure out how.

## Timeline

We're aiming for:

* **Month 2**: Production pilot with limited scope
* **Month 3**: Full deployment + compliance review
